Your memory is working fine, John, no parity checks that I could see. :-) As
I recall, neither the CB nor the BB cap use powder. The BB caps available
today use .22 Short cases while the CB caps use .22 Long (same as Long Rifle)
cases. The BB cap was originally intended for indoor shooting and originally
used a case about 1/2 the length of a .22 Short case. CB caps were a
variation on the original BB caps and used the same case, just a different
bullet.
Someone here on the echo asked if BB or CB caps would function a
semiautomatic pistol. Simple answer - not if the pistol is working
rrectly.
