Massive rooster booster

THIS bird really has got something to crow about - lofty Ginger is thought
to be Britain's tallest cockerel.

Ginger is a Japanese Shamo, a breed which was developed for fighting.

He is 12 months old, 32ins, STILL growing and stands eye to eye with owner
Chris Johnson's granddaughter Evie, one.

Ex-butcher Chris, 74, keeps Ginger at his rare breeds centre near Coventry.

He said: "They don't come any bigger than him. There's no secret to his
growth, it's just one of those things."
