I can't comment on Hebrew names vs English names, but I can say that
getting and installing ALL the latest patches for 3.12 will be the
easiest way to see if Novell has fixed a problem that is causing it.  It
is also prerequisite to any help Novell will offer.  If I were you, I'd
get the latest patches and see what happens.
