Hello Dale, ' tis a nice day today.

I am back on BW now with the pertinent information,ie:

DS> OK. The only way I can really tell you what might be wrong is to
DS> see how you have things configured. Post the following info for me:

DS> 1. system used (XP, ME, OS/2 or what ever).

I am using XP Pro, no SP-2 but all is in it with SP-1.

 DS> 2. directory where your Bwave executable lives (e.g. h:\bwave\ )

This is on a Thinkpad, Dale, and there is on HD, one partition,
C:\ and BWAVE is in it.

DS> 3. from the configuration menus:

DS> a. under archive, what is on the line for zip? (assuming you are
 DS> using zip compression).

As per your .doc, it says : BWPACK.BAT ZIP {at}F {at}I

DS> b. under directories, what is the directory for upload?

        C:\BWAVE\UPLOAD

DS> 4. If you are using pkzip , pkunzip -- do they live in the same
DS> directory as in 2 above, or are they on the path that DOS
 DS> programs get to see?

I do and they are included in C:\BWAVE.

All this is +/- academic now as BW is working, no thanks to me.
I did not do anything to it, I just tested it every day and it decided
to do its thing yesterday. PFM, no less ! It would do the .zipping
before but not pick up your BWREPFIX, for an unknown reason, then, it
made up its mind that enough was enough and woke up. The .zipping was
done and showed the added digit as in To: 3dale shipp.

As there is nothing to cure now, Dale, I am left with many a
thankyou for your continued interest. This is fun in spite of the mind
searching involved at times. Keeps me on my toes, if anything.

        Have a great day again.
