Chuck,
Since you replied to this from the Quicken Conference, I assume you are
a Quicken user. I appreciate all of your help, but I got to thinking
about it and since the account in question is part of a rollover IRA I
don't think my question about cost basis is really a concern.
I guess my real question is how to do this in Quicken, and how would
this be handled in Quicken if it were not part of an IRA. The only way I
can figure out to do it is to enter the shares as ShrsIn and then set up
the price.
What do you think?
