QMPro allows multiple "modem" declarations to be setup. You can assign one of 
them as default. In your dialing book you can have every line declared as 
either current, default or a specific modem. Just create a specific modem in 
addition to your current default. You wouldn't want the same dial entries 
being used for telco and IP calls as telco uses phone numbers and IP uses IP 
addresses. 
No problems as far as I can see.... no seperate configs necessary. 
All information is at least 4 years old as I haven't used QMPro in at least 
that long.
