And that "editing" of the HTML page can be scripted so that it is
just converting the FILES.BBS file and including some static HTML
surrounding it....  Similar to how the ALLFILES listings are made up.  In
fact, some of the all file listing software I've seen generates HTML for
this purpose....

So, it's do-able, but very low on my list at this time.
