subject: X-Files modem

Hi John,

JP> Has anyone seen or heard about the new X-Files NetComm modem? Sheesh.
JP> I have seen a picture of it: it's a black NetComm (of the new, more
JP> compact design) with a green X-Files logo on the top of it. Does anyone
JP> know what model this modem is, and what speed it operates at?

Yep, it's a Netcomm Roadster with a different case, it runs at 33.6K and makes
a funny X-Files sound when you connect or turn it on I think. It might be the
later model of the Roadster- the AM3451, but it's definitely a Roadster.

It's also a lot more expensive than a Roadster.

Alex
