I admit it--I was duped. One thing I was surprised to find is how many
addresses there were in my address book. One person who replied to me
suggested cleaning out the address book to reduce the rate of spread of
such things. In the process, I discovered that Outlook automatically adds
the address of everyone I send a message to to the address book. This is a
default setting. To turn it off, go to Tools, Options, and the Send tab.
One of the check boxes is "Automatically put people I reply to in my
address book". Uncheck this, and then your address book will contain
only the entries you put in manually.

 *  Best regards, Bob
