Ah, the defintions I use of "liberal" and "conservative" although
I like better "unconstrained" versus "constrained" stem from Sowell's
work in "A Conflict of Visions."
For me, a major difference between "conservative" and "liberals"
is the "vision" (I call them assumptions, others call them
"pre-cognitive act" of human nature). This does not mean, the
definition is "set" but rather seems most consistent with
the differences in "ideology" (to use Frank's word ).
