But, they said if I put 3.0 in the same directory it would convert
scripts, dialing dir, etc. Only trouble was I didn't read the small
print. Those conversions would only take place if upgrading from a
Windows product (2.0?) to 3.0. Otherwise all bets were off.

Didja ever do a mixed code dump of the source for a Fortran program?
A 10 line program can generate a 3 page listing! I can't imagine
doing the same for some of the stuff today. I feel the last real
program was Lotus version 2.0, it was done entirely in assembly from
what I remember.
