Hi Dan,
DD} What does the "pine" choice do from the macro
  } list?    I have used it for Pine email and can
  } see no difference from vt102, in fact I can see
  } no difference from ANSI for any of them in doing
  } UNIX PC terminal INPUT.
The Pine setting loads the PINE.MAC keyboard macro file.  This
sends special key codes when you press keypad keys.  On many
Internet providers these keys also work in the menus outside of the
Pine E-Mail system.
The display emulation is still set to VT102, which controls how the
host positions the cursor and clears portions of the screen.  ANSI
display emulation is very similar to VT102.  There are a few subtle
differences in screen clearing and attribute setting.
