Can anyone give me the official scoop on the purpose of the exclamation 
point (!) in a format or input mask field?  I've read the description and 
tried formatting fields with and without it, and there doesn't seem to be any 
difference.  If you can include an example which will demonstrate the effect, 
I'd much appreciate it.
