If, when you're in terminal mode, and you enter AT, and you don't
get a response, then the computer is not communicating with the modem.
(regardless of the ECHO setting) Double check the Comm address and
interrupt. If you're running it through Windows, you'll have to be sure
there is no irq (interrupt) conflict.
