Nothing wrong with those settings. Odd however that you say that use of
the S95 register doesn't correctly reflect DCE speed. The AT&T chipset
used in the Logicode fully supports S95 use. In any event the W2 setting
will do for DCE reporting. S95 merely expands the reported facilities.
Reading your prior post where you say that CONNECT 31200 is reported by
the modem which however then in Telix changes to 1200 almost sounds as
though Telix ( being somewhat old and prior to 28/8/33.6 speeds ) does
not recognise the 31200 as valid and reverts to 1200. And possibly also
the same applies to Terminate ( incidentally not a program on my hit
list).
Try forcing a lower speed connect via S37 register , say down to
14400 which Telix will certainly recognise .. S37=11 probably ... and
see if matters proceed OK. Also use W2 and S95=0. If all OK then the
software is at fault.

Nothing much wrong with these either. One item which however has no
bearing on your problem is the FIFO buffer size setting. 8 would be
preferable to guard against data overruns .. 14 leaves only 2 bytes of
headroom and thus marginal. However if you have no problems then leave
as is.
