Novell 5 is much different from 4.11 or 3.11. If you want your Supervisor
commands to stay the same & stay w/ a file server bindery system, go with
3.2, if you don't mind retraining & going to a Directory Service tree, go
to 4.2, if you don't mind everything I've mentioned about 4.2 plus the
fact that many Network based softwares & peripherals don't work w/ 5.0
yet, go to 5.0. (ex., one of our clients had to upgrade (expensive) to
continue using their DiscPort CD Rom Tower & their ArcServe based HP Tape
Drive.
Summary, if you want easy go with 3.2, next 4.2, next 5. Novell has kept
all three lines of products to support the existing command structure.
All are stable systems, but all are different.
