That reminds me of a few years back where there was a notebook computer 
that had problems like that (before Win95). 

Apparently it wouldn't run some PC programs due to hardware 
incompatibilities. 


Is the Thinkpad made by Toshiba? 
Wasn't there a recall on a bunch of them not to long ago because of 
RAM access problems? 
I don't remember if it was just the RAM chips, or the circuit that 
accessed the RAM chips. 

Does the Thinkpad have seperate video RAM, or shared video RAM?
