you only got what you needed... it picked through what you already had
hotfixed and went for just the new stuff... the FULL XPSP2 is some
250megs... that's a complete network install package... you just download
it once and keep it where all your machines that need access to it can get
it... that way, if you have more than one machine, you don't have to
download more than once... many "in the know" have grabbed the
full package and burned it to a CD so that they won't be vulnerable if they
have to completely rebuild their XP box(es)... they can do the install with
the wire disconnected and then pop in the CD with the full package and
patch up... /then/ they can connect the wire and get back on the network
with a lot less fear and trepidation of infection and/or being hacked in a
few minutes... in my case, i keep everything and don't connect the wire
until after having installed everything i've already downloaded... patches,
firewalls, filtering proxies, browsers, etc... all stored on disk locally
;)

speaking of which, i guess its time for me to burn another backup of my
downloaded apps OB-)
