Hey all... got curious about the Unitarian-Universalist church
and did some looking. While reading their "statement of beliefs"
(or whatever they call it), I found this as the epigraph to
chapter 5:

During a staff meeting of the UUA, the president was holding
forth in his usual windy and repetitive manner. A staff member
who had been raised with the Bible, slipped a note to a colleague
with a similar background. The note said, “Hebrews 13:8.”  His
colleague burst into laughter, recalling the passage, “Jesus
Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever.”
