I'm pretty sure it needs 48 MB no matter what.  The 64 MB recommendation
comes from the requirements of the GUI interface.  RAM's cheap, do 64 and
it'll work.  That doesn't necessarily mean all the extras that come with it
will work - some may need more RAM.
