A few years back, I bought QBooks 1.0 Rel. #9 (DOS) on a promo
and never used it for my original intended purpose.  Recently,
I have been helping a friend to do his own small business
bookkeeping and pulled the old disks out to install on his
SX-16 386 (EGA).  It really isn't too bad a combo for his
purposes and he doesn't use his old computer for anything
else, anyway.
Questions:
I can't see any info on any DOS based products on Intuit's
web site.  Were there patches/enhancements after the
version I have?  Is there an FTP site?
Is there a Quick-Pay module supported for this platform?
I think that he will end up enjoying having his own
bookkeeping system and will rationalize purchasing a more
capable Windows capable computer to run the Windows versions,
but he wants to get started in this manner to see if it is a
reasonable decision.
