You should also remember that much of what the Des Moines
Register printed was later proven to be totally groundless by a
committee appointed by then Governor Bob Ray to investigate the
Iowa Commission for the Blind which found nothing wrong.  Also
Roxanne Conland an attorney who was trying to use all this trash
for her own political ends could find no grounds for prosecution
and failed in her bid for the governorship because of her
irresponsible actions in this matter.
