It's exactly the overall points that are the point. If you swap your two
cars you get the same team points but you can make it right for the driver
who is in a position to do better overall. Ferrari took the piss last
season, but I don't see why it's a particular problem. I think it's more to
do with shallow spectators.

It's exactly the same. Fangio's car breaks so his teammate is brought into
the pits and told to get out of the car. Fangio wins, his teammate doesn't.
