I'm not a fan of TAS, true.  There are only about two or three animated 
episodes which have decent stories, and the "on-the-cheap" animation 
Filmation used was little better than the old Rocket Robin Hood stuff.  Some 
stories, like The Infinite Vulcan, written by Walter Koenig, are grotesque 
insults to the intelligence of a six-year-old...  
Generally speaking, TAS is a rather sad, pathetic imitation of Trek.
