Hi Marv!
-> Hi Again Bonnie. I think what he was referring to here was the Altec
-> Lansing Multiledia COmputer Speakers. They are a 3 peice set with the
-> normal 2 satelite (beside the monitor) speakers, plus a seperate
-> subwoofer. Not sure what they have as far as speaker sizes, but they
-> did suprise me as to the sound they were capable of. For a self
-> powered and reasonably low priced, designed for computer use speaker
-> system, they are quite good compared to any of the other junk out
-> there i have listened to. Fairly acurate, with moderately good bass
-> response when a good quality CD is played through them.
I've heard them, and they do sound pretty good for what they are.. but
did you note what they want for these things??? I'll still opt for
adaquately powered real speaker systems any day.
The orignal poster was talking about the REAL stereo being across the
room.. He and a lot of people need to get a clue.. Your TV, telephone
and stereo are going to be the computer sooner or later. Isn't time to
start thinking of integrating all of these things together?
