Hello All!
I found a bug in Watcom Assembler; I've tested it with v10.6 but I haven't
seen a bugfix about it reported in 11.0 so I suspect it is still in.
WASM incorrectly assembles the instruction:
repe cmps byte ptr cs:[si], es:[di]
into:
F3 26 A6 (rep es: cmpsb)
whereas it should be: (TASM assembles it correctly)
F3 2E A6 (rep cs: cmpsb)
I've reported the bug to Powersoft by e-mail.
greetz,
Tom
