| subject: | X-Files modem |
John, at 21:57 on Oct 30 1996, you wrote to All... JP> Has anyone seen or heard about the new X-Files NetComm JP> modem? Sheesh. I have seen a picture of it: it's a black JP> NetComm (of the new, more compact design) with a green JP> X-Files logo on the top of it. Does anyone know what model JP> this modem is, and what speed it operates at? Presumably so named because 33600 connects are as rare as alien abductions... BTW, the "X-Files" logo is a registered trade mark, and its (legal) use incurs a royalty fee - and guess who ultimately pays for that ?
