You know who you are. ;-) No replies though, so I take it most people reading this are happy with the software they're using now! FWIW, I've decided that the user interface needs changing anyway. The program will consist of a single window and begin with a list of message bases. When you double-click on the message base the window will change to a message list, where you can double-click on a message and the window will change again to view the message. This is no different to how Msged, GoldED and timEd operate, but you will also have the option of having tabs at the bottom (or top) of the window to switch between the arealist/messagelist/message views, similar to "tabbed-browsing" in Opera and Mozilla. This should also give you the option of opening multiple areas and/or multiple messages at once (which isn't possible with the current UI unless you start two copies of the program). Anyway, that's the theory. Getting the interface to work how I want and actually getting the program to a point where I've got something usable is another matter entirely. -- mail{at}ozzmosis.com --- timEd/FreeBSD 1.11.b1* Origin: Blizzard of Ozz, Mt Eliza, Melbourne, Australia (3:633/267) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 633/267 |
