I downloaded both but never installed either.  It doesn't surprise me that the
ArchLinuxARM-aarch64-latest doesn't boot.  I built a kernel here targetting 64
bit and am doubtful that it will boot.  I was going to try it using
qemu-system-aach64 soon.
