This is true: Q is a terrific, inexpensive tool.
If one needs an audit trail, then a more thorough,
expensive package is necessary. As with all tools, the
user needs to understand the proper use and
limitations.
It's just that I find it very annoying when I
enter the wrong date and my entry disappears up into
the already cleared portions of my bookkeeping. Then all
previously balanced statements are corrupt until I find the
erroneous entry and correct it. I'm just enough of a
fumble-fingers that I can screw things up easily!
