-=> Quoting Paul Sayan to Michael Martinez <=-
MM> PS> There are too many parents who don't clothe and feed their
MM> PS> children.
MM>And you think that's because of lack of education? No, it's because
they're
MM>lazy or uncaring. "Educatino" doesn't change that. Even _learning_
doesn/t
PS>
PS> Ya, actually, I do.
PS> How do you that it is because they are lazy or uncaring?
Because there's people with high education which are lousy parents, and
people with no education who are great parents. And education hasn't
been around forever, it's only a few hundred years old. Obviously,
prior to that, there were plenty of good parents, or we wouldn't be
here today.
PS> Are you
PS> saying that it is not possible that they simply don't know better? And
PS> even if they were lazy and uncaring, how do you know that an education
PS> (completed) wouldn't change them? What evidence do you have to prove
PS> this true? What evidence do you have that would even point this to be
PS> true?
PS>
See above.
PS> Now, what evidence do I have to point that you are wrong?
PS> Well, according to a variety of studies at Berkeley, Salk Institue,
PS> Ruters, and many more, children are born lazy and uncaring. Well,
PS> something changed that, now didn't it?
Well, I would have to see those studies to determine what is actually
valid to conclude from them, and how well they were done.
Let me ask you this: what is *your* idea of raising a kid right?
