The only patch I've seen is for 800K using a ProDOS block device.

I'm actually trying to figure out how to do this ProDOS block device 
stuff, so I can write a simple OS for storing single-file games and 
running them from a menu.  (doesn't need write access, can create it from 
a PC.)
