Hamish,
Many of us have tried to reason with John about this and gotten NO WHERE.
He simply either does not understand what you have said or does not
want to understand. BUT, he is the moderator of this echo and UNFORTUNATELY
by Fido rules it is his choice. (Infact, he could do away with this
entire echo if he chose to).
Obviously he is wrong as it is not against the law to talk about
modifying cellphones or monitoring their conversations. If it
were actually illegal to talk or think about something illegal, then
EVERYONE would be in jail because there isn't a person alive who does
not do that at some time.
You are correct, there are SEVERAL areas where monitoring cell calls is not
illegal and that this is an international echo. But do to the
restrictiveness of the moderation you can't do what you want.
Try going to the echo "Cellular_II", the people on that echo
have a technical understanding & can comprehend. I don't think
you will be off topic there.
Regards to all.
... Only GOD is in a position to look down on anyone.
