This is what I was thinking for the pine64's.  However with the minnowboards I
already have a pure 64 bit OS already working that is up to date (eg gcc-6.2.0,
glibc-2.24, etc).  Mind you the minnowboards are roughly 4-5 times the cost. 
Better hardware though especially the onblard network chips, or at least the
newest boards which dropping the Realtec for Intel.

Very interesting.  Again time will tell.  :-)
