To say the least.  Speaking of which I haven't actually found anyone claiming
to have the octacore arm64 Gigabyte board for sale at any price so I figure I
am still lacking a suitable development system.  Looks to me like my initial
thoughts about a custom cluster-divide-and-conquer system based on things like
raspi3-ish boards is not all that far fetched looking at it today.

As you previously said, time will tell.
