No. 

I have a couple of other programs that use it to access extended RAM. 
One sorts a database and makes its' index file. 
Trouble is, the database is getting so large, I have to transfer it 
to a slower running computer with 32MB RAM because this one, with 
20MB, won't do the job anymore. 

I think it was initially made so that, as DOS games got larger, 
they wouldn't be restricted to the 640k boundry.
