Actually the above is the result of our fiddling with the modems,  eg
forced retrains,  speedshifts and transmit level changes.
 
I have no trouble sustaining 33600 to other Netcomms.  And given the
conditions on the connection between us I'm surprised we couldn't force it.
 
I'm curious as to whether his receiving level of -28dB compared to my
receiving level of -37dB is a factor.
 
Can the Courier be forced to transmit higher?
