DC> But, you have to let the program know it's there.
DC> The " * " before the 'BW.SIG' means that a SIG file was selected.
DC> The BW.SIG file is a standard ASCII text file that I created.
DC> BIF, you need to slect the Echo you want to add the sig file to. You
DC> can use different sig files for different Echoes.

JP> Now you tell me. ;-)) It does not mention this in the
 JP> BW.doc or the F1.

If you want to have the same SIG on _ALL_ of your messages and replies:

Setup/Configure Mail Reader
 Preferences
  Default Preferences
   File and String Preferences
    Signature File Name *C:\BWAVE\DEFAULT.SIG

Except the ones that you make a special file for under:
Setup/Configure Mail Reader
 Preferences
  Msg Area Preference Override
   Select BBS
    Select message area
     File and String Preferences
      Signature File Name *C:\BW\BLUEWAVE.SIG

The text in that file will automatically be appended to the end of that
area's messages when the message is saved.

A message that is re-edited will NOT have another SIG added to it.
