She wrote two fantastic books after the Anna Lee series with a main character 
unlike ANY in mystery fiction - an East End female wrestler with an attitude 
that won't quit.
Speaking of the A&E mysteries - have you seen the newest series, "Silent 
Witness"?  A bit reminiscent of Patricia Cornwall with the female 
pathologist, but much better, IMHO.  Although the one tonight was allllllmost 
too gritty for me, and I have a very high tolerance for grit.
