Speaking of Reba:
I heard an interesting story about what happened the last time Reba was in
the San Antonio area (from one of the local IATSE hands I worked with last
month). He said he was surprised at the show, especially the one backstage.
Apparently no provisions were made directly behind the drapes (staging, - I
wasn't there so I don't have the particulars), BUT, Reba changed clothes
right outside of view of the audience. There were several stagehands who
were forewarned that if they were caught staring at her, they would be
escorted from the show immediately. IMO, there was obviously a
miscommunication somewhere along the line, cause there could easily have been
set up a staging area (with merely "banjo" drape and steel) to have given her
some privacy without the crew (mostly men, healthy stagehands - "where if
there are two or more stagehands together for any length of time the
conversation will digress to furry critters!") having to be merely doing what
comes naturally - looking at a woman in a state of undressing.
