 More like, care little about doing something about it.

 I was looking up something else this morning, and stumbled on a
 website for Orthodox Jews who oppose the existance of Israel. It
 was quite educational. Got a very quick education in a short
 time.

 They are vehemently opposed to the existance of Israel, as it
 was established by force, before the arrival of the Messiah,
 which they say is a corruption of Jewish belief. Though they say
 it much more in detail than I can. From their website it appears
 that view is more held by Orthodox Jews than any of us gentiles
 realize. And according to some I have read that was the
 prevelant view of Orthodox Jews at first.

 In Israel, only Orthodox conversions are recognized by law. I
 wonder if that wasn't the way the govt bought off the Orthodox
 opposition.
