Agreed.  I can cite the two x86_64 boxes I currently have as evidence to that
fact.  For me the bonus might be if the one I am playing around with the cross
compiled aarch64 enviroment actually boots on a suitable candidate in the near
future.  If that turns out to be a raspi3 then so be it.  We'll see ... maybe.
