-=> Quoting Jean Parrot to Bruce Clark <=- BC> Blue Wave calls them Taglines. BC> I believe there are a couple of places in the setup munu to control BC> them: BC> Setup/Configure Mail Reader JP> I dumped it all to a printer Bruce, and will follow your JP> instructions. This is just a fun item but I will try and see what JP> I can do with it. Thanks. Be sure to do the: F1 HELP for each item, to see which one you might want. I believe the "tagline" is added to the end of your message as it is being saved from the editor, so it has nothing to do with your text editor. You can have multiple tagline files (*.TAG). By using: Tagline selection type Prompt Open DEFAULT.TAG with a text editor (NOT a document editor) and read the description of [ALTLIST]. Below that there is also a couple of lines: [COMMENT]Pressing ENTER on the line below will load a new tag file. [ALTLIST]C:\BW\MORETAGS.TAG [ALTLIST]C:\BW\MANYTAGS.TAG [ALTLIST]C:\BW\MYTAGS.TAG [ALTLIST]C:\BW\YOURTAGS.TAG [ALTLIST]C:\BW\HISTAGS.TAG Instead of putting a tagline at the bottom of your message, it will open a new tagline file for you to chose a tagline from. If you put: [ALTLIST]C:\BW\DEFAULT.TAG at the top (and/or bottom of that file, you can return to the original tagline file, and select a different one. That way you're not stuck if it turns out you chose the wrong file. ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: BBS Networks {at} www.bbsnets.com 808-839-6036 (1:10/345) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
