That's based on your current SQUISH.CFG settings for BUFFERS.  I know I
have extra batch logic to temporarily increase to BUFFERS LARGE to get to
256K ceiling during an outbound scan of newsgroup areas that have been
stored in Squish format.  The local messagebase actually holds the larger
messages and GoldEd lets me read them there, but they were inserted by
NGate...not Squish itself.
