Oh, I'm lurking, just trying to be sure and stay on topic when I post, so I

Birds are fine, Brandy is doing well with his mate, his weight is constant 
and she shows no signs of anything amiss. I'm planning on setting them up 
with a nest box with alfalfa for the lining since it's natural and easily 
digested should he decide he wants to consume it.. now to figure out a nest 
box that doesn't have wood, think I'll use a small cage and cover it with a 
towel for privacy.

For one, Pat Sherman, she raises finches and others, goes by the handle of 
Bird Lady.  For another, one of the Linda's had a conure.. but it may have 
been Linda Love who hasn't posted in some time.  Other than that, you'll have
