Actually, Borland is still keen on its "16-bit users", as can be determined
by the fact that every copy of Delphi 2.0 has a copy of Delphi 1.0 on the
CD-ROM. It's just that Borland needed a 32-bit presence for Delphi, which
meant that Delphi 2 HAD to support Win95, not Win 3.1. I'm more interested
in seeing Delphi 3.0 and WinNT 4.0 Workstation. My questions there concern
whether Delphi 3.0 is Win95 or WinNT4 compatible and how much more to upgrade
to hardware compatibility for WinNT4. (I know how you feel about the upgrade
costs for Win95, as I was forced by job conditions to do an upgrade on my
Pentium. My wallet is STILL bleeding from that!)
