I haven't experienced that yet, even if both my Windows 10pro machines
are of quite recent manufacture. laptop 2011, stationary 2009.

My first mouse mat is made of rubber with some kind of cloth on top,
the rest are all plastic and of course washable.
Winter is trying to force itself on us. It has rained since yesterday,
and today there is even some sleet coming down. Cars coming to the city
have snow (sleet) on their roofs.
Temperature was just +0.5ø this morning, and there's a strong NE wind.
Have a good night,
Holger
