Hello Harvey and listers,
One more point is in order to make this piecure complete.  Last night a
message was posted here likening the operation of our National Board of
Directors coming in to California to the Russians coming in to Hungary
and Chezkoslovakia.  Did anyone stop to think that peraaps the assistance
from the National Organization was requested.  And given the situation at
the time  I am sure that those in California who wanted the Federation to
retain it's integretycalled for help from Dr. Jernigan and the National
Board as it was needed to straighten the mess out.  Please don't just
assume that the National board just marches in when things go wrong.
Their help must be sought.  this is also true of local chapters and state
affiliates.  I know of a local chapter President wwho when she realized
that the situation confronting her was too big for her to handle alone she
called for help from her state's leaders.  Please, let's stop this
business of likening our state and National Leaders to dictators,
comunists or something else like that.  It just isn't true!
