Sadly, the carrier I am an agent for just started requiring
authenticated phones, and so far as only certified Motorola, Nokia, and
Audiovox. And the company I work for can only get distributor pricing
deals (that we can live with) from those three vendors and Panasonic. In
almost three years of selling cellular phones and service conversions,
I've never even seen a Mitsubishi, Okidata, or Uniden phone anywhere
other than at trade shows or in a catalog.
