Recently picked up Netware 5.0 3-user demo for eval & testing. The
Readme "recommends" it be installed on P-100 W/64Mb RAM, but doesn't
state that as the minimum requirements. Since I don't need speed, just
functionality, I tried to install it to a 486DX-100 w/32Mb with nothing
else on it.  The installation hangs the PC about ten seconds from start;
" . . . . . . . . . . " with no err msgs.  PC has to have a
hard-boot to unlock. Had FDisk'd the HD (6.2Gb) & loaded minimal DOS
6.2 files to get it booting and all works fine as long as I'm not
installing Netware 5.0.

Has anyone seen this before? Suspecting that not seeing 64Mb may be the
prblm, but don't want to just throw memory at it if it's something else
altogether. Tried to ask Novell about it, but their response left a Lot
to be desired ("We don't support that. Try posting your problem to a
newsgroup."), even tho' I bought it directly from them.

Any suggestions would be Very helpful.
